About the job:

The applicant will be responsible for growing our AI business by building and expanding relationships with new and existing customers. He will possess the necessary promoting skills to effectively build relationships with Cloud Field Sales Representatives and Customer Engineers. The applicant will develop relationships with external customer stakeholders. He will also identify innovative ways to multiply his impact and the impact of the team as a whole. The applicant will partner with internal Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Sales teams to grow their AI businesses and drive overall value for GCP. Business cycles will include a combination of productivity use cases, as well as working with Product teams to help our customers build new products leveraging our AI.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience promoting IT business solutions and executing a territory business strategy.
  • Experience partnering with technical staff to build business cases and implementation plans.
  • Experience identifying and driving use cases to solve customer challenges.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing partners in complex implementation projects including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.
  • Experience promoting the AI technology stack, and driving business growth across industry-specific (i.e., retail, financial services, telecommunications, media, entertainment, gaming, or healthcare) AI/ML use cases.
  • Experience working with Product teams and an understanding of how to embed our technology into their product set.
  • Understanding of regional/local industry data privacy and security rules and regulations.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud and Google Cloud AI offerings.
  • Ability to connect AI/ML with business value and engage executive stakeholders as an advisor and thought leader.

Salary:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $106,000-$158,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities:

  • Calibrate the business against the objectives and key results. Accurately forecast and report the state of the business for your territory.
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with customers as the AI Subject Matter Expert.
  • Assist customers in identifying AI use cases suitable for Google Cloud AI products and solutions and introduce best practices that help accelerate time to adoption of GCP AI services.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans informed by our responsible AI frameworks across an assigned territory or market.
  • Work with Google Account and technical teams to develop an AI strategy at the account level and develop and drive pipelines.
