Interview Kickstart is a startup that helps tech experts learn from Big Tech employees and alumni. Interview Kickstart Fundings has raised $10 million in its first subsidy round from Blume Ventures.

The San Francisco-based company was founded in 2024. It offers courses and mentoring to engineers who want to advance their careers in the tech industry. It specializes in domains such as AI, product management, and design. The company claims that its learners have received job offers exceeding $250,000, and in some cases, surpassing $1.2 million, from top tech companies like Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google, and Netflix.

Interview Kickstart’s co-founder Ryan Valles said that the company targets to bridge the gap between the education system and the demands of large tech companies, which have a low acceptance rate of 2-3%. He said that the company’s instructors, who are current or former employees of Big Tech, teach engineers how to appreciate and challenge large-scale challenges and perform better in interviews.

The company has been profitable since its beginning. It plans to use the new funding to expand its AI offerings and curriculum, as well as explore the possibility of offering its programs to businesses. Valles said that the company has seen a surge in demand for its AI vertical, which was launched in 2023, as more engineers seek to transition into advanced roles in the field.

Blume Ventures, the lead investor in the round, said that he was fascinated by Interview Kickstart’s mission and its ability to empower professionals with new skills. Karthik Reddy, Managing Partner of Blume Ventures, said that Interview Kickstart is a potential success story of the decade and that he is excited to partner with the company.
